Please see the attached pdfs of evidence supporting our claims against the incumbents running for President, Executive Director, and more. It's time for a change and to take Oregon AFSCME in a new direction and that is why we are supporting Sarah Curtis for President and Rob Martineau for Executive Director as well as Joe M. for 1st VP.
Additional issues that are not mentioned in the charges we filed:
Too much business of the Council is done in Executive Session. Members are not transparently communicated with on certain business that makes Council, Officers, or staff in a negative light.
Council has to date refused to engage on the ERDC issue on behalf of our licensed providers and all AFSCME members' whose families, neighbors, and coworkers rely on ERDC.
Our staff person notified Slava B at OCCD at PSU in April 2025, that the local was not the sponsoring organization and should not be recognized for such preventing our local from billing for training and from submitting or getting training approved by ORO. (See email from OCCD correcting this issue -- note that State (our "employer") sided with CCPT.
