  • Renewing Your CBR: Timeline and What to Expect
    Updated On: Aug 07, 2022

Wondering about the new Caregiver Background Check renewal process? Wanting more info on the fingerprint process? Check out the attached document for more info.

Please be aware that this is the "optimal" or "expected" timeline. Glitches happen and ELD is still working out the bugs/kinks in the system. As with any new system, the old procedures and forms must be merged with the new ones and sometimes mistakes happen.

Currently, ELD/OCC is subsidizing the cost of this process. You will still pay for your fingerprints to be captured (this hasn't changed for those who must get fingerprinted). The cost at Field Print locations is MUCH less than the majority of locations used before. Field Print locations are also open (generally) longer hours and on weekends. They are literally all over the state.

You can't get your fingerprints done until you get a letter. Please read through the attached document and if you have any questions, please call Anneliese (503-508-2287)
